International conference “Inclusive education compared internationally” took place at the University of Vienna, Austria, from June 5 to 9, 2015. Consortium members from the partner universities participated in the conference within the project “Initial and Further Education and Training for Educationalists and Managers in Education in the field of Diversity”.
During the conference, the scientists discussed main problems of and perspectives for inclusive education compared internationally and being based on the examples from Austria, Germany, Russia, Belarus and Ukraine. Austrian and German colleagues reported on the following topics: “Inclusion index”, “Inclusive structures from school to working life”, “Inclusion in Vienna schools”, “Project on inclusion implementation in community Wiener Neudorf”. One of the important events during the conference was visiting an inclusive school in Wiener Neudorf. Inclusion is being practically implemented here on every level: from school to town council, which let involve almost all the citizens of this little Austrian town into the process. Results of the scientific and practical research presented from all the countries will be very important for the further realization of TEMPUS project.
